Dear Martha+ Bill

Words cannot express my feeling and I have tried so many times to write to you. If I was only near enough to talk to you – I really think I can tell you much better. As she says love passed the feeling when we have grown so much stronger that Walter is all right and where he is, his friendly and pleasant word will win him friend and he will be well taken care of. Our every prayer is from his safety and well being. Don’t lose your Faith in our Heavenly Father. He will Always keep you. I have talked with Alive – in fact just finished a phone call. She said she had a swell letter from you Bill and I sure was glad to hear that. Will be glad to see all of you when you come up home.

I know you have plenty of courage so keep your chins up. Good night for now and hope to see you soon.
